The next day, we kicked off our wedding celebration with a visit to Altitude in Damosa, a trampoline park that turned out to be an absolute blast! Who knew that jumping around could be such an intense workout? We laughed, flipped, and bounced on every trampoline, feeling like kids again. It was a fantastic way to start our adventure, letting loose and enjoying each other’s company in the most energetic way possible.

A Hearty Dinner at SM Lanang

After all the jumping and excitement, we worked up quite an appetite. So before heading back to our unit, we stopped by SM Lanang for a well-deserved dinner. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was just perfect for winding down. We took our time, reminiscing about our journey together and soaking in the joy of finally being married.

Day 2: A Day of Relaxation and Reunions

Waking up on our second day, we immediately felt the aftermath of our trampoline adventures—our bodies were sore! We decided to take things slow, allowing ourselves to truly relax and enjoy every moment.

After parting ways with my fraternity brother, my husband and I craved some much-needed relaxation. We found the perfect spot at Thai Boran inside Abreeza Mall, where we indulged in a soothing Thai massage. The moment we walked in, the peaceful ambiance immediately made us feel at ease. The massage melted away all our exhaustion, leaving us refreshed and ready to enjoy the rest of our night.

Feeling rejuvenated, we decided to continue our night at the famous Roxas Night Market, one of Davao’s must-visit attractions. The place was lively, filled with food stalls, local crafts, and a charming mini-park where we spent quality time together. It was a simple yet meaningful experience—just the two of us, savoring street food and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Davao.

Day 3: A Spontaneous Trip to Samal Island

Originally, our plan was to check out and head back home on our third day. But something about Davao made us want to stay a little longer. Maybe it was the excitement of our wedding celebration, the beauty of the city, or simply the desire to make the most of our first trip together.

A Last-Minute Decision to Stay

Instead of leaving, we extended our stay for one more night, booking another condo unit in the same building via Agoda. With one extra day at our disposal, we decided to visit Samal Island, famous for its pristine white sand beaches and clear blue waters.

Setting foot on Samal Island felt like entering paradise. The soft, powdery sand beneath our feet and the gentle waves rolling onto the shore made the entire trip feel even more special.
