Amarah Hotel: Butuan's Newest Luxury Stay
If you’re looking for the newest and most luxurious hotel in Butuan City, look no further than Amarah Hotel. Located near City Hall, this elegant hotel offers top-tier accommodations with easy access to key destinations in the city. While it is the most expensive hotel we have tried, the experience was definitely worth it.
A Night at Amarah Hotel
We had the chance to stay at Amarah Hotel for a night last January, and we were lucky to avail of their January promo rates. We booked the Olive Junior Suite for only ₱4,000 nett per night, which was originally ₱5,200, as confirmed by the front desk when we inquired via phone. Booking was smooth and hassle-free, and the hotel staff was very accommodating.
Room Experience
The room itself was fine and well-designed, featuring a split-type air conditioning unit. However, we noticed that it wasn’t as cool as expected. One distinct observation was the woody smell upon entering the room, which we assume is due to the hotel's newly constructed interiors. Regardless, the overall comfort and aesthetics of the room were satisfactory.
Exceptional Customer Service
One of the standout features of Amarah Hotel is its excellent customer service. The staff members were incredibly polite and professional, greeting guests warmly every time. Their attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable.

Buffet Dining Experience
The hotel also offers a buffet dining experience, which we found delightful. The food selection was great, and everything was well-prepared. However, we did experience a slight delay in the refill of rice, but aside from that, the service and food quality were impressive.
Pool and Ambiance
One of the main highlights of Amarah Hotel is its beautiful pool area. The pool view is stunning, and the area is spacious and well-arranged, featuring perfectly placed sun loungers and tables. It is an Instagram-worthy location, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and taking great photos.
