Frustration Over Urban Style Heat Hair Spray & Watsons SM Butuan Sales Service
Frustration Over Urban Style Heat Hair Spray & Watsons SM Butuan Sales Service
We all want the best products, especially when we’re buying something for an important event. But sometimes, we end up disappointed—not just with the product itself but also with the misleading sales advice we receive. This is exactly what happened to me when I purchased the Urban Style Heat Hair Spray from Watsons SM Butuan City.
The Sales Lady’s Recommendation
I went to Watsons looking for a strong-hold hair spray for my nephew’s Senior Ball. Since I wasn’t familiar with the best brands, I asked the sales lady for her recommendation. She gave me two options:
- A cheaper hair spray, which she immediately dismissed as “not the best.”
- The Urban Style Heat Hair Spray – the most expensive one on the shelf at ₱699 for 200ML.
Of course, I wanted the best for my nephew’s event, so I trusted her advice and bought the Urban Style spray, expecting it to work well.
The Disappointing Results
When it was time to style my nephew’s hair, I used the spray exactly as the sales lady instructed. However, instead of giving his hair a strong hold, it just made it wet and flimsy. It did nothing to keep his hair in place, which was frustrating, considering how much I spent on it.
I tried reapplying it, thinking maybe I wasn’t using enough, but the result was the same. The hold was weak, and his hairstyle completely fell apart within minutes.
Lack of Information & Frustration
At that moment, I was pissed off—not just because the product failed but because I relied on the sales lady’s advice instead of doing my own research. The back label of the bottle wasn’t even in English, so I couldn’t read the instructions properly or check if there was anything special I needed to do.
I didn’t have the time to search online for reviews, and I trusted the store’s recommendation. Big mistake.
Moving On & A Lesson Learned
Of course, I didn’t let a hair spray disaster ruin the night. I told my nephew to just enjoy his Senior Ball and do his best, even if his hair wasn’t styled as we wanted. He went on to win three awards, proving that confidence and talent matter more than perfect hair. 😆
But honestly, this experience taught me a valuable lesson: Don’t blindly trust salespeople, especially when they seem more interested in selling the most expensive product rather than giving honest advice.
Final Thoughts: Don’t Be Like Me!
If there’s one thing I can tell everyone, it’s this: Always do your research before purchasing a product, especially expensive ones. Read reviews, check online feedback, and don’t rely solely on what a sales assistant tells you.
I hope my experience serves as a reminder to be more cautious when buying products, whether it’s for hair, skincare, or anything else. I’d rather spend my money wisely than be frustrated over a useless purchase again!
