 A Memorable and Eventful March 9

March was an incredibly busy month for me, filled with excitement, unexpected moments, and cherished memories. It started on a high note with the Tau Gamma Phi Butuan City 44th Founding Anniversary event, an occasion I had eagerly anticipated. My role for the night was to be the emcee, and while I was initially nervous, everything went smoothly—at least, I’d like to think so!

The celebration took place at the Grand Palace Hotel, a stunning venue that added an air of elegance to the occasion. To make things more convenient, my husband decided that we should check in for the night. It was a thoughtful decision, especially since my nephew, Miles, who is also a fraternity member, was part of the event. Having a place to stay right at the venue made everything much easier and more comfortable for us.

An Unforgettable After-Party

After fulfilling my duties as the emcee, I asked my husband for permission to join the after-party. Fortunately, he agreed, and I was beyond excited to celebrate with my fraternity brothers and sisters. The after-party was nothing short of amazing! We danced the night away, laughed, and created beautiful memories that I will cherish for a long time.

Before I knew it, it was already 5 AM. Completely exhausted but happy, my fraternity brothers and sisters kindly dropped me off at the hotel. However, the night’s fun came at a price—I woke up with a terrible hangover. My head was pounding, and I felt absolutely drained. Sensing my discomfort, my husband decided to extend our stay for an extra hour before checking out, allowing me some time to recover. Unfortunately, in the process, we ended up missing our free breakfast! Despite that little mishap, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the month.
